A few more

Day 3
No trip to Yellowstone would be complete without seeing Old Faithful.

Dragons lair.  Carly thought she needed to make goofy faces for every picture this trip.
 They are even cute blurry

We are sad to be leaving in this picture.

Yellowstone again

We really we not planning on going to Yellowstone this year, but since Grandma and Grandpa go every year we just couldn't resist tagging along.

 An eagle in the tree.
 Cute girls!

We stopped for lunch by the river and the girls had so much fun wadding around.

Our favorite spot is artist"s point and this year we convinced Alice to get out of the car and take a few pictures.  She hates having her picture taken so this was kind of a big deal.

Bri the Bad ass

I didn't get a very good picture, but a few weeks ago Bri was bucked of a Pony.  She hit her head (thank goodness for helmets) and ended up with 3 stiches in her chin.  As well as being pretty dang sore all over.

But like the Bad Ass she is, she was back on her horse just one day later.  I'm pretty proud of her derermination.

Best Dad ever

I pretty much married the best man ever and that is no exaggeration, he also happens to be the best dad ever.

The girls made him a cute apron to wear when he is grilling.  Carly sewed it and Brianna painted it.

They love their daddy.

They have a pretty great grandpa too.

Catch up

Summer is in full swing and I haven't even blogged about the end of school.  The girls ended the year by each having solos in the school choir concert.  Carly sang a solo to the song 'It's Possible'  and Bri sang a solo for ' Pure Imagination.'  I helped conduct the choir again this year and had so much fun.

Carly also performed in the second grade talent show.  She made up a ballet to 'Fur Elise.'  I was very proud of her because she has been pretty shy up until now and she has surprised us lately.  Bri also preformed a song with a small group of kids in the 5th grade talent show, but my camera was dead so I don't have a picture.

Last day of school, Bri made some really great friends this year.

She had a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Tuft

Carly really loved her teacher Mrs. Yanda.

They were both sad when school was over.

So we took them up to Park City to our favorite restaurant and to ride the Alpine Slide.

Carly rode all by herself.  So brave

W
We also rode the Alpine Coaster.  It was a great way to start our summer!
