Summer fun 2014 (I'm only a year late!)

Most of the pictures I take now are on my phone and I don't down load it often enough so my blog suffer, but since no one reads it that's okay.  So here are some of the fun things we did last summer.

4th of July Fun

We had lots of fun this 4th of July weekend.


We started it off going fishing on Saturday at a local pond. We didn't catch anything, but we still had fun.

Sunday we met up with our cousins at Grandma's pool for some swimming.

I love making fun outfits for the girls for the holiday. These were done at the last minute but turned out so cute.

It wouldn't be the 4th with out a BBQ with our family. Here are all the cousins.

Carly and Zoe are 6 months apart in age and are BFFs Carly gave Zoe a friendship necklace.

They are inseparable.

My sister live near a city park that puts on a firework show so we always go there to get our fix.

First swim of the year

We are so lucky to get to go swimming at Grandma's every week. This week we started up our regular Sunday Swims. We have so much fun

End of Summer

Brianna has continued riding this summer and loves it as much as ever. In these pictures she is ridding Buck, but she has mostly been riding a pony named blue. Ponies are notorious for being stubborn and naughty but she does a good job with him.

We've also done a lot of swimming this summer.

I love these three kiddos. They make me smile and I will miss our Sunday swims.

Week in review

I'm a little late with these. Bri started school last week. She looks so big and grown up.



We all walked her over the first morning. Carly doesn't start for a few more days.



We are really excited about her teacher and class this year.

Friday night we returned home from dinner to find our tree looking like this.

So Saturday we started cleaning up.

It just kept getting worse. We love our big trees and the shade they give us but I don't think we can save this one.

We tried to go swimming this weekend, but it was a bit chilly. Carly and Atty sat poolside wrapped in towels.

Brianna and Daddy were the only ones who braved the cold.

Today Carly started dance. She really likes dance and she is quite a good little dancer too.

We have another busy week ahead of us, but we are looking forward to lots of fun.

Summer Fun

I know there is a lot more summer left, but since we are on a year-round school schedule and Bri starts back Monday , I feel like summer is over. We have had lots and lots of fun this summer.

The summer seemed to fly by this year. I don't think I'm ready to send Bri back to school quite yet. Hopefully we will find time to do more fun things.
