Bon Bon

Carly to to be in the Nutcracker again.  This year she was a Bon Bon.  That is what they call the little girls who hide under Madam Bonbader's dress.

Her cousin Zoe was a Sugarplum Page.

Lots of family came to see Carly perform,  and her best friend and even her teacher.

I even got to make some of the costumes this year.
The girls she danced with.
She had so much fun and can't wait for the next production!

Reflections

Both the girls entered photos in the PTA Reflections contest this year and they both won!
The theme was 'Dreame, Believe, Inspire'
Bri took a picture of a mustang named Thor.

Carly took a picture of one ot the older dancers on Point.

Horsey Halloween

We love Halloween around here and every year mom goes a little crazy with the costumes.  This year Carly wanted to be a Sassy Flapper Girl.

Super Cute!

Brianna wanted to be a Peacock.

Pretty bird.

I just can't get over how cute and grown  up they are.

The stable Bri rides for has a Halloween party every year and so now we get to incorporate a horse into the costumes.
This turned out pretty good.  She won the contest.

This pony loves his girl.

Bri and her BFF.  She was a zebra and pained her horse like one too.

Carly even went for a ride.
It was a fun night.

More Horsey fun

Bri has done lots of riding as usual this summer.  Luckily her teacher is great about taking pictures of my girl.  They've done some trail rides at Dimple Dell.

I love this picture.  She looks so hardcore in her glasses, helmet and vest.

She's done a couple of horse shows.  Barrel Riding.

Extreme horseman's challenge

I'm glad she has a hobby that she loves so much.

Hot air balloon festival

While Daddy and Bri were camping Mom and Carly got up early one morning and met some friends at the hotair balloon festival.

It was so cool to get up close to the balloons.

They were so colorful

We had lots of fun, even if we didn't get to go up in one.

Camping.... with horses

Before school so rudely interrupted our summer, Brianna and Jon went on a camping trip.  They went up Ogden Canyon with a bunch of horses and riders from Bri's stable.

She was in Heaven

Riding all day

and hanging out with friends.

The highlight was taking the horses down to Pine view reservoir.

She had so much fun living out her Black Stallion dreams.
