This past weekend were able to take a much needed vacation to Zion National Park. Jon's family has been going there for Easter for the past 25 years. We couldn't make it down Easter weekend, but his parents were still down there so we packed up and went. The weather didn't quite cooperate with us though. The first day were there we dove in to St, George and saw Jon's little brother. We spent a little time in the park but I didn't bring the camera. Day 2 we woke up to lots of rain, so we decided to take a drive up to the East entrance and through the tunnel.
It was snowing up there.
It was fun to see the park in the snow.
Checkerboard Mesa
The other great thing about the rain, is lots of waterfalls.
The next morning the rain had cleared and it was beautiful.
There is nothing more beautiful than these two girls.
Weeping rock.
Emerald pools
Since we didn't get to hike the first few days we made up for it on our last day and went on 4. It kicked our butts, but I'm so glad we did it. We had so much fun on this trip!
Our trip ended with a rainbow over our campsite.
