What exactly is the small stuff?

So you hear all the time "Don't sweat the small stuff." So what exactly is the small stuff. I have some decisions to make about the girls, to keep them in dance or pull one out and put her in soccer and the other in a different studio. This may not seem like that big a deal, but I feel like it IS a big deal. Bri wants to try soccer and since she has to try out for her dance class next year it seems like the right time to pull her out, but I hate the thought of her not dancing, but on the other hand I never did sports and I sometimes wish I had. If we pull Bri from dance, then we want to change where Carly dances, but it's lots more money and she would have to pick ballet or tap, because we can't afford to do both. I think I've made my decision about all this, but I'm just really stressed about it all. I feel like it does affect them for the rest of their lives, and that seems melodramatic, but it did me.
We also have to make a decision about Spanish immersion. They offer it at our school and it seems to be all the rage to put your kid in language immersion, but I have some reservations about. Again I know this will affect the rest of her life and it seems a bit crazy to have to make a decision like that for a 6 year-old. She keeps changing her mind about it too, she currently says no, but do I let a 6 year old make such a decision.
See big decisions in small packages.
It's all giving me a headache.

More Easter

We had a lovely Easter. The girls woke us up very early to tell us the Easter bunny had come.

He always leaves a trail of eggs from their room to where their baskets are hidden.

We had lots of eggs.

They got hula-hoops, clothes and outside toys.

Bubbles.

We had a very relaxing day which is good because we have a busy couple of weeks coming up!

Some early Easter fun

We had our family Easter party early this year. We started out by dyeing eggs.

Henry wasn't very interested.
After we dyed eggs we went outside to hunt for some. It was drizzling rain but they had fun anyway.

They all got lots of fun stuff.Three little sweethearts in matching dresses.

We had all the kids sleepover. The next morning they decided to have a tea party.Such fun. We love our cousins.

We hope you all have a lovely Easter.

Best part of Easter

Every year when we were little my mom made my sister and I matching Easter dresses. They were my favorite part of Easter and still are. I kept having second thoughts about the fabric I chose for these dresses, but in the end they turned out so cute. They are knit tank dresses so they can wear them all summer. I'm not usually a fan of shrugs, but these really make the outfit.

We took the girls to hear my mom sing the Rutter requiem. It is one of my favorite pieces of music, and it was beautiful. Even though Jon is not a fan, he and the girls came with. There weren't very many kids there and every one there was so impressed with how well behaved the girls were. I'm glad they enjoy good music. We also got stopped and told how cute they were. I agree! It was a really lovely evening.
