Easter in Zion

We decided that since we had already visited 2 Utah National Parks this year, that we should take advantage of the chance to go to another so we decided to spend Easter Weekend in Zion NP

On the trail from the Campground there is this tree we've taken a picture at before. Its fun to see how they've grown.

I haven't managed the hike to the top for years. it felt so good to be able to to it.

We went for a ride through the tunnel and were surprised to see some big horn sheep along the way.

I love being able to take trips with my little family. I think they are pretty awesome!

Christmas

Christmas is always so much fun with our families. We always spend Christmas Eve at my brother's house. We eat yummy food and let the kids play and just enjoy being together.

After the kids got out of the hot tub we opened presents. I love how the kids all crowd around eachother as the open the gifts.

Bri was happy to get some horses.

Carly got a Ballet Barbie.

Then we frosted some cookies for Santa.

When we got home the girls opened their Christmas Jammies made by Mom.

Then Santa came.

Both girls were spoiled and happy!

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for Swedish pancakes.

Horsey Halloween

We love Halloween around here and every year mom goes a little crazy with the costumes. This year Carly wanted to be a Sassy Flapper Girl.

Brianna wanted to be a Peacock.

I just can't get over how cute and grown up they are.

The stable Bri rides for has a Halloween party every year and so now we get to incorporate a horse into the costumes.
This turned out pretty good. She won the contest.
